Will Jackways 2013 Highlights

One of the highlights of my 2013 season in N.Z was competing in the 2013 World Heli Challenge.

Apart from being an awesome event , a unique contest style and bring amazing people from all over the world together too compete, I ended up winning the contest an defending my title from last year.

We had amazing snow conditions and everyone had a great time , I'm looking forward to next year and going for the triple win.

One of my other highlights was from a magazine trip into Mt Cook in September .

The Mt Cook region has with out doubt the best natural terrain in NZ for snowboarding an filming . We spent 3 nights camping out in Lady Emily Hutt which is based near the Cass river .

Heliing in and out everyday, we had great snow conditions an awesome crew and nice weather .

Trips like this get me stoked during a busy winter an remind me of why I started snowboarding , look out for the feature story in NZ snowboarder Mag 2014.
