O'Dea Beach Bro's Win Bronze at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

medals

Medals are won in the years & months leading up to competition & all the hard work has paid off for our Aloe Up Ambassadors, the O'Dea Beach Bro's & we could not be more proud! They had their sights set on gold but after battling through injury, they saved their best game till last. They clinched bronze in clinical fashion, only losing one game throughout the entire tournament!

winning

The boys had been working towards the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games for over twelve months, with preparation & training taking them all over New Zealand, Australia, Asia & Europe. Their last training camp took them to Germany where they practiced in world class indoor beach volleyball facilities, training with & playing against some of the best beach volleyball teams from Germany & the Netherlands (who also just happen to be some of the best in the world). They were even able to finally practice in front of their German based coach Markus for the first time this year.

more medals

Now that the bronze is in the bag, Ben will finally be able to have his much needed shoulder while Sam heads back to Europe to train & compete throughout the Northern Hemisphere summer as work towards the next goal (Tokyo 2020) starts now. Good luck boy's!
