Medals are won in the years & months leading up to competition & all the hard work has paid off for our Aloe Up Ambassadors, the O'Dea Beach Bro's & we could not be more proud! They had their sights set on gold but after battling through injury, they saved their best game till last. They clinched bronze in clinical fashion, only losing one game throughout the entire tournament!

The following images are from 2017 Matson Vaka Eiva a festival hosted by The Cook Islands Canoeing Association annually for the past 14 years. It was a privilege to be invited as the Aloe Up Sponsor to experience Cook Island culture and hospitality.
Vaka Eiva is the Cook Islands world famous Oe Vaka/Outrigger Canoe Racing festival takes place every year in November. It was first held in 2004 & has grown to become a feature on the international canoe racing calendar, bringing paddlers from all corners of the globe to the tiny Cook Islands.
Serena Hunter won her country's first gold in vaka (canoeing) from the hot favourites Tahiti in her V1 10km race, a bronze in the V1 500m, and a silver with her teammates in the V6 20km race.
Over the last few years we have been working hard to spread our brand message & values by supporting local sporting events & athletes. These events are not large scale glamour events full of sporting super stars but inclusive events that focus on participation as much as results. And the athletes they help out through sponsorship are not on multi-million dollar contracts, most of them have day jobs & take part in their chosen sport because it's their passion.
Aloe Up is proudly sponsoring the Manureva Aquafest 2016 Festival in the Cook Islands. The five day international watersports festival is set in one of the world's most beautiful lagoons surrounding the South Pacific island of Aitutaki.
Aloe Up was the sunscreen sponsor for this outstanding festival held in the beautiful island of Aitutaki and on the stunning Motu Tavake. The event, a tribute to Etau Leverd who tragically died last year, included a fun day at Ootu Beach, 3 days of kite boarding action across Freestyle, Twin-Tip racing and a Big Air where the expert kite boarders showed their skills to the crowd; it was thrilling.
Aloe Up Ambassador Dylan McNeice repeated his 2013 and 2014 Challenge Wanaka wins again on Sunday in a time of 8:37:14. Dylan was first from the 3.8km swim in a record course time of just 45:33.
Summer is here and we need to protect our skin from excess UV Radiation. Short exposure (10 minutes) has therapeutic effects as it improves the production of Vitamin D and this increases calcium absorption however longer exposures can cause severe damage to skin including sunburn, skin cancers including the potentially deadly melanoma (Holick 2004).
